Directions for Q: Read the following information to answer the questions that follow. For admission in a Technical Institute, the following conditions are required:
A. The candidate must have secured 60% marks in the senior Higher Secondary Examination. In case of SC and ST, the minimum percentage is 55%.
B. The minimum percentage required for science subject is 70%. In case of SC and ST, there is relaxation of 10%.
C. The candidate should be a bonafide resident of state `X’, where the Institution is situated.
D. If a candidate has participated in sports and games at the national level, there is a relaxation of 4% marks obtained, but the case is referred to the Director of the Institution for recommendation.
E. A candidate can be admitted if he/she has secured 75% marks or above in Science subjects and 58% is the grand total.
F. If a candidate is not a bonafide resident of state `X’ but has secured 75% or above marks in Science subject and 60% in grand total, his case would be sent to the Chairman for recommendation.
