Uco Bank Pay Scale
Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300 (20 years)
DA, HRA, CCA, Graduation Pay, Medical, LFC, Terminal Benefits, other allowances etc will be paid as per prevailing rules in the Bank depending upon place of posting
Probation Period
On appointment, candidates will be on probation for a minimum period of 6 months, which may be extended by another 3 months in the Bank discretion
On successful completion of the probation, they will be confirmed in the Bank services
Educational Qualification
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt, or
- A pass with 50% marks in Higher Secondary examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern)/11th std (11+1+3 pattern) or Intermediate/Pre-University (SC/ST/OBC/EXS/PwD candidates pass only), or
- A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC/ (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std examination (10+2+3 pattern) or equivalent (SC/ST/OBC/EXS/PwD candidates passed with 50% marks in aggregate)
- Essential requirement: All qualified candidates having valid score card issued by IBPS, Mumbai in CWE 2011
- Candidates should have a certificate about working knowledge in Computer
- Candidate should have proficiency in the official language of the State for which he/she has applied
- Candidates should have appeared in CWE from a centre in a State for the vacancies he/she wishes to apply
- Degrees obtained from the recognised Universities/Institutes, recognised by the Govt of India only, will be considered
- The educational qualification prescribed for the post is the minimum
- Candidates must specifically indicate the class/division and percentage of marks obtained calculated to the nearest two decimals in the relevant column of the application
- Where no percentage of marks is awarded by the university, but only CGPA/OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into percentage
- The result of the qualifying examination, graduation or equivalent to graduation, as the case may be, should have been announced by the University on or before 01st August, 2011
- Candidates should have obtained the specified IBPS score in each test and/in aggregate in the common written examination conducted for Clerical Cadre in 2011-12
- Candidates should be able to produce the score card in support of the scores mentioned in the online application form, if called for further selection processes such as Interview
Uco Bank Application Fee
- (including postage/intimate charges) (Non-refundable)
- ST/SC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen (EXSM) category Rs 20/-, for all others including OBC Rs 100/-
- Requisite application fee may be paid through CBS at any of the Branches of UCO Bank only, by means of a Payment Challan as per the format given on the Bank website
- Demand drafts, cheques, money orders, postal orders, pay orders, Banker cheques, postal stamps, etc, will not be accepted
- The payment towards application fee through CBS can be made from 16th May, 2012 to 02nd June, 2012
- The CBS fee payment challan contains two parts
- The first part will be retained by the Branch
- The candidate copy of the fee payment challan must be retained with the candidate after the necessary details such as Transaction ID, Branch Code etc are filled in by the bank official
- Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other future selection process
Selection Procedure
Selection for Clerical Cadre posts will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in November-December 2011 and Interview
Interview Centres
- The Interview will be held at the following centres
- Addresses of the venues will be advised in the call letters
- The addresses of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.

How to apply Uco Bank job
- Candidates are required to apply online through website www.ucobank.com
- No other means/ mode of application will be accepted
- Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID (as specified in the online application form while applying for common written examination (CWE) conducted in November/ December-2011) is kept active during the currency of a recruitment project
- Bank will send call letters for Interview etc to the registered e-mail ID
- Applicants are first required to go to the Bank websitewww.ucobank.com and click on the link Recruitment of Clerical Cadre-2012
- Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled UCO Bank Clerical Cadre Recruitment Project-2012
- The candidate should take a printout of the fee payment challan
- Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in Block Letters
- Go to the nearest UCO Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account Number and Branch (as mentioned in Challan form) in the name and style of UCO Bank Clerical Cadre Recruitment Project-2012
- Candidates may find out the required branch address from the Bank website www.ucobank.com under head Branch Locator
- Obtain the Applicant Counterfoil Copy of the Application Fee Payment Challan duly authenticated by the Bank with (a) Branch Name (b) Transaction ID/Scroll number (c) Date of Deposit and amount filled by the Branch Official
- Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the Recruitment Link on the Bank website and going to the sublink titled on-line application for UCO Bank Clerical Cadre Recruitment Project-2012 to open up the appropriate online application format
- All the fields in the online application format should be filled up carefully
- Carefully fill in the details such as fee payment details from the CBS Challan in the online
- Application form, scores obtained in stipulated CWE etc at the appropriate places
- Original fee payment receipt, CBS challan will have to be submitted with the call letter at the time of Interview
- Without original CBS challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Interview
- Candidates are also advised to keep a photocopy of the fee payment challan
- The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets
- Any change/ alteration found may disqualify the candidature
- Candidates should not submit a printout of the application/fee payment receipt (CBS challan) to the bank at this stage
- The application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission, if shortlisted for Interview
- Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying
- No other mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected
- The applicant should sign and affix his/her photograph on such printout of application and keep the same ready for submission, if selected for Interview along with copies of required documents, Original fee payment receipt (CBS challan), valid IBPS score card for the stipulated examination, attested copy of School leaving certificate or any other document showing proof of age acceptable to the Bank, Attested copies of mark sheets/certificates in support of educational qualification, Attested copy of certificate of Computer Course, as applicable, Caste/PwD any other related certificate as applicable, Photo identity proof
- If selected for interview, candidates serving in Govt/Public Sector Undertakings (including Banks and Financial Institutions) will be required to submit their applications accompanied by a No Objection Certificate from their employer, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered
