Upsc-Economic officer in Ministry Lobour & Employment

Economic officer in Ministry of Labour & Employment of two posts, one post is reserved for other Backward Classes candidates and remaing one post is Unreserved. The posts are suitable for Physically Challenged Person with disability viz. Hearing Impairment i.e Deaf(D) or Partially Deaf(PD) or Blindness or Low Vision i.e Blind (B) or Partially Blind (PB) or Orthoaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Paisy with or one Leg Affected (Right or Left) (OL) or one Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA).

Qualification

Educational: Post Degree in Economics or Business Economics or Applied Economics or Econometrics from a recognized University or equivalent. Or Post graduate degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Commerce from a recognized University or equivalant and must have studied Economics as a subject at Graduation level.
Exerience: Two years experience in collection/compilation and analysis of data related to Labour matters.

Duties

To carry out field survey, research, analysis and interpretation of statistical data, preparation of notes and memoranda etc.
HQ: New Delhi.
