Qualification

1. Educational: Post Graduate degree in any batch of Agriculture Science.
2. Experience: Ten years experience in the area of production and productivity and other related aspects in food/cash crops e.g.,Oilseed/Jute/Cotton/Sugarcane/Pulses/Wheat/Millet/Rice.

Duties

To assist Central Government to plan,coordinateand monitor crops development programmes at nationl level and recommend measures to improve them. To coordinate with States/UTs to Implement crops programmes to increase production and productivity. To interct with national state institutions in planning the production of seed. To liase with nationl and state Agriculture Universities and Central Govenment institutes for organising training courses in improved production technology. HQ: New Delhi but liable to serve anywhere in india
